"I paid $1000 for 2 cords of wood that was described as kiln dried and ready to burn. It’s not dry and doesn’t burn well, not even the kindling sized pieces. The larger pieces are very slow to light and make hissing noises with liquid evaporating when they finally burn. Not recommended."
"Excellent experience with Gevry Firewood, and Ethan is really pleasant to work with. Gives excellent value, and is willing to accommodate clients with thoughtfulness and care. The wood is much better quality than my last cord (and helped me realize that my prior load was a short cord that didn't burn well). I will definitely use Gevry for my firewood needs from now on."
"First experience: Excellent, ordered some wood, and they were able to bring it right over the same day (off season). Prices are competitive locally, and the wood looks great. Very clean wood, smells great, and the cuts are consistent. I couldn't be happier! Second experience: ordered green wood June 3rd and was told they would deliver, but gave no date. I tried following up, but couldn't reach anyone by phone, and ended up needing to order elsewhere. Third experience: Ordered green wood and they set me up two days out. They showed up as scheduled, but ended up getting their truck stuck trying to do me a favor and get closer to my wood shed. Totally my fault, but they were really nice about it, and were more concerned with tearing up my yard a little than all the time they wasted and all the extra work. Overall, this place is great. Friendly workers, and besides the order slip-up the service is great. The wood quality is the best I've seen out of the other places I've ordered from in this area. Definitely recommend getting your wood here. Just try to order at early in the season as you can."
