"Penalty charge for using a credit card. There are many fees to run a business, why am I being picked on for this fee. This new practice is dangerous and leads to individuals having to carry large amounts of cash. My final visit to Mapes. I appreciate the owner position but stating it as a discount is really just a boost in profits. I understand this is happening in other business's, but it does not make it right. Just another form of extortion. The good news is that this debate will be decided by customer volume and satisfaction."

"Went this weekend to grab some flagstone and river rounds. I had been recommended Mapes from multiple people and now I know why! My husband and I are definitely not landscapers but we are diy/weekend warriors. Everyone there is lovely and helpful the owner gave us advice on our project and assisted us in ways to make us more budget friendly and more appealing than our original plan! Same day delivery. Local & Lovely, never go to Lowe’s or Home Depot for what you can get at Mapes!"
"Stopped on a Saturday about lunchtime to look at landscape stone. The crew was receiving a pizza delivery and offered my young son a piece which he happily accepted. Our grill tank was filled while we browsed and decided on stone from the helpful visual layout out front. Our selection and amount needed was written up and they were even able to deliver same day and fee was reasonable. The owner asked kindly if we had the area prepared (which we did). Very pleasant experience and will be back for future needs as customer service was great and no pressure."
"Prices are ridicolous. $55 a scoop plus $45 delivery fee that's craziness. The bill was almost $200. Outrageously priced. We left there. And decided to go elsewhere. We can get it $100 cheaper elsewhere. So that's what we're gonna do."
