"Buyer Beware – Bad Firewood at Persons Farm in Robbinsville: I would not normally write a bad review about a local company. But I was so poorly treated by Jamie of Persons Farm that I am compelled to do so. I received a cord of wood to my house. Mixed in the wood was a very large amount of dirt, stones, asphalt, and some metal chips. There was an entire trailer load of this waste (see pictures). Instead of apologizing, Jamie kept yelling... “didn’t you get a cord of wood? Didn’t you get a cord of wood?” He said those are chips and not his problem. WELL they were not chips and it is HIS problem. Can you imagine if every homeowner got a trailer load of waste with every delivery of firewood? How ridiculous. In the end they accepted the return of the trailer of waste. Jamie wanted me to unload it myself. I told him NO WAY. Your guys are doing it. And they did. The picture on their Facebook page shows nice firewood. Look at my picture of what I received. I liked the idea of a local nursery and this was my first and last experience at Persons Farm."

"I purchased close to 40 plants to be sold in my flower shop for Easter. I was very specific in color, size and variety of what I was looking for. Every time I called to confirm availability Jay needed to call me back- but never did. He also never delivered the plants when scheduled . Three additional delivery dates were promised. But still a NO show. We finally received the plants 5 days later. What a mess. There was no invoice but the driver insisted on payment. Half the order was missing and the other half was the colors he THOUGHT I wanted. I had ordered pink and blue hydrangeas, he delivered only white. I ordered pink, purple and yellow tulips, he delivered only red. I had ordered pink and purple hyacinths, they were all white. All the mixed garden planters were missing. When I spoke to him on the phone he was rude, nasty and condescending. He refused to to give an invoice for payment. Buyer beware with this company."
"Ordered 13 yes of black mulch from them at 10 am on Sat and literally had delivery truck by 11:30 at my home in Millstone. So quick, very friendly, fair price with free delivery. Looked up their website, definitely will be buying plants from them too. Can't wait to visit."
