"This summer I called to order two cords of wood. Was told the price was $375 for seasoned and $475 for dry. Fair enough. The two cords were fine. Testing to 12-15% moisture. I called in December to order a cord of dry at $475. I could immediately feel that $475 cord wasn’t as dry as the two $375 cords. Testing to 20%. I called to share my concern. Lynn called back and stood behind her wood as it was within the NH state forestry dept. recommendation for moisture content. Notwithstanding, it is reasonable to expect wood sold as dry at a higher price to be drier that seasoned wood. I also have about 30 pieces of wood with total wood rot. Don’t take a chance. Have already moved in to a supplier that sells kiln dried wood for the same cost as Twigs “dry” wood. And 10 years of service and 600 customers as a reply can only go so far."
