Customer service is +10 as you're always willing to make sure all our needs are met. Cutting a board (or more) if needed, the ability to drop off our logs and have you dry them in your kiln. You go the extra mile wether it's Dave, our daughter or her boyfriend coming in for something Dave needs picked up or dropped off. The best thing is you're located in the same town as our daughter! "I live in Omaha and for the rest of my life, I plan on driving the 45 minutes to Palmyra, NE rather than 10 minutes away to any of a dozen other places, for absolutely any wood I may need. I'm doing floating stairs in my house and was having serious difficulty finding the right species and thickness for the project. I was recommended Big Red Sawmill and took a drive out there to check it out with my wife and kids. Brian and his family helped answer absolutely ALL of our questions, showed us all of their supply, and after we figured out the right type we wanted, went out to a storage facility to verify they had it in stock. When they saw our kids were there, they took all of us around the property on a tour, let my kids pet their cows, and even brought my wife and I to the storage barn to show us the exact wood we were getting. Not only are they the most knowledgeable people with lumber and species, but they might be the nicest human beings in the world! Beware - if you drive out to this place once, you're going to be looking around the house for additional projects that might give you an excuse to pay this place a visit (I've been back once already, besides my order pickup, and it's been a week). Additionally, it's reasonably priced for unbelievably strong quality!"
