"Strange place. Sometimes they're all there with all their equipment working and other times "well we're hiring two new people tomorrow, so things should be up and running soon". Seems like they had better help last year but, for some reason, the office help and some of the yard workers quit or were fired and the new staff is a little bit slow in making the place a viable business. If you load the wood yourself, you can get good stuff but if you have the yard do the loading with their excavator, you get a LOT of small, trashy stuff along with the good wood."
"Terrible experience! Driver crashed into our garage and took no accountability despite video evidence etc. Owner was extremely rude and proceeded to cuss me out etc. didn’t fix what his business broke and didn’t take responsibility. Would never recommend or buy from them again!"
"This firewood is crap. Literally had to rake through a pile of sticks to get to anything of any size. I ordered 3 cord and didn't get the whole 3 cord. Delivery fee was way out of line for a short distance. Owner refused to make anything right after seeing pictures and admitting the sticks were extreme. I received anything from 8" to 24" lengths after being told it was all 16". WOULD NOT RECOMEND!"
"Ordered two cords on 8/9 for delivery at 9am on 8/30. Started calling at 8am on the appointed day to confirm as I had to leave work to meet the driver. No answers so left work to be there and continued calling with no response until 10am when I drove to The Yard to find out what's going on. Finally met with 'the guy' (assumed it was the owner) who apologized and explained they've had equipment issues for two weeks and would get the wood delivered ASAP. I said, I can understand - these things happen. However, when I explained that I had taken time off work, called both numbers repeatedly for two hours and had suggested that it would've been nice to have some kind of notification of the delay, he said. 'how about you get your wood somewhere else.' Wow. How about you (The Yard) learn to respect customers and their time. How about you (The Yard) learn a little business etiquette."
