"I ordered a 1/2 cord of firewood after being explicitly told it was seasoned ash. Upon delivery, the driver admitted the wood had just been split directly into the truck. The logs still had green vines and fresh bark, making it obvious the wood was not seasoned in any way. When I raised this concern, I received the following response from the company: “Ash hardwood is ready to burn the day it is cut down… If you can’t burn this, you’re probably a candidate for an electric fireplace.” This statement is simply false, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, the owner chose to be dismissive and insulting. On top of that, the wood was poorly processed. Most pieces were far too large, essentially oversized rounds that should have been split into much smaller, usable logs. When I mentioned this, I received another inappropriate response: “You sound like a candidate for an electric fireplace. They have girly size wood at the grocery stores.” At that point it was clear this company has no interest in customer service or honesty. I reached out in good faith to give them an opportunity to correct the situation, and instead I was met with unprofessional insults and misinformation. Be very careful when buying firewood—there are unfortunately companies like this that will misrepresent their product, deliver unseasoned wood, and then respond with hostility when called out. I would not recommend doing business with them."
