"New England Firewood was unbelievable!!! They were great with communication and delivery! Most of all their firewood was a game changer for us! We have an insert that for years has smoked. We have tried everything from warming the insert for hours to leaving it open so it gets warm, cleaning it constantly but this premium wood… was what we were missing! it is such a clean burning wood it lights up immediately and no smoking! Thank you so much! We will see you next year!"
"Ordered a cord of kiln dried wood, the junk I received was barely seasoned. 25%-%36% moisture reading when it's suppose to be 12%-15% Smokes like crazy, barely burns. Brain the owner came out to measure himself and gave me back $300. Thanks, but doesn't address the fact that I now have a massive wood pile that I have to season myself. He told me to "just split all the logs and they will dry out". Time to look for a company that delivers what they promise, will not use him again."
"I had a delivery of a cord of kiln dried firewood yesterday and I am very pleased. The wood is high quality and split to perfect size for the fireplace. The logs are very consistent in size. The driver was very friendly and accommodating. He dropped the wood in the very back of my driveway bringing it only a couple of feet from where it will be stacked. "This is my 1st Firewood 🪵 delivery from New England Firewood. I had a wonderful experience working with Brian Hickey the owner. He was very responsive. My firewood delivery was supposed to happen right after a big snowstorm and he was quick to communicate the issues he had in being able to deliver (completely understandable due to the nature of the situation). The only complaint I had was the pricing on his website for the firewood delivery is lacking information. The delivery price is for 1/2 cord not a full cord, which is what I ordered. He is aware of the issue and is working to update the website. He gave me a quote which didn’t match what I expected and explained the issue with the website. I really appreciated the transparency he provided. I would order from him again."
