"I needed three very large willows (3’ diameter trunks- approx 70’ tall) removed….. two were hanging over the house. I found Zach and Crystal on a Google search and made a call. They came out the same day and gave me a VERY affordable estimate. At the end of the job, I was very satisfied with the timeliness and quality of work that was completed. Zach and Crystal are an honest, reliable and very hard working team. Even though we agreed that I would do all the clean up to keep my costs lower, they weren’t having it. They split the clean up chores with me at no additional charge….. incredible work ethic!! I was so impressed with ZnC that before the job was complete, I’d already hired them for another project. "As a small business owner who does carpentry and contracting, I do not take writing this lightly. I have seen many good businesses harmed by customers with unrealistic expectations using reviews to damage a small business. This is NOT the case. I am the tenant on a property in Boise and Z N C's was hired by my awesome landlord to remove 2 large silver maples and an ash that were putting the house at serious risk. Zack was eager to do work initially, but has very unreliable help and depends heavily on under-the table labor. He admitted to me that they are not covered by workman's compensation. I have some knowledge of tree trimming as I work with other professional arborists who supply me with hardwood for carpentry and watching him work was quite frankly terrifying. I left my house for 4 weeks while he was cutting for my own safety. While working on the trees where I live, he did several other jobs on neighbors. During the process, he injured himself in the trees at my house and broke his hand on the neighbor's. Since recovering, the jobs at my place and several neighbors are incomplete. Zack is not returning any calls. He is not qualified to climb trees and perform the technical task of removing sections with ropes and lines. He uses a ported chainsaw that is extremely loud, does not wear proper PPE, and it is apparent he does not know what he is doing. Do not be enticed by his low bid. During the process, he disconnected electrical service to my house without any notification causing me to almost lose a freezer full of wild game. I had to rush coolers full of meat to a friend's house while he dilly-dallied. Furthermore, he has a winch that I sold him on the promise to be paid and has neither paid me or returned my property. He is no longer answering phone calls. I would not trust these guys with a pruning saw. My landlord and myself have been completely taken advantage of. You get what you pay for!"
"Zac did a lot of tree trimming for us in Boise, Idaho . He has an incredible work ethic, pride in workmanship, and is dependable and honest. He works on your property with pride in what he knows about trees. He runs this business like he was born for it! We have come to love him as a friend now after he did so many jobs for us."
"I recently contracted Zach to remove 3 small trees for me. He cut the trees down on a friday and informed me that he would come back on the next day to finish the job in removing the downed trees. I wasn't going to be home on Saturday so i paid him on that Friday. Zach did not show up on Saturday. Zach texted me and said he would come to finish on Sunday, but he did not show up.i gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited a few days before texting him that i wanted him to finish the job and he replied he would come the next day. Well, needless to say he did not come. I reached out to him again to please finish the job and again he did not show up. a week later, I finally had to hire another person to come and finish the job. I notified Zach that i wanted him to return some of what i paid him since he did not finish the job but have no heard from him since."
