Since Variety Firewood closed, I've spent the majority of the 2025 winter season driving to different firewood places along the front range, trying to find what Variety had. This place pulled up in the top Google searches this time. Kathy was so nice and very helpful. I came to find out that they know Brenda at Variety, helped clear their lot and had worked together on firewood inventory in the past. The drive to Denver Firewood is twice the distance for me but well worth it. I purchased pinion ( my favorite), pine and white oak. Now I'm stocked up with the best wood for my firebox and I can turn my furnace off. Love ya Xcel but I'll take a wood burning fireplace over a furnace any day of the week. Denver Firewood has wonderful customer service, a great staff and a pristine lot that makes it worth the trip."

"Denver Firewood is absolutely the best place to go for wood. They have a great selection of all types of wood. I always get Pine and Pinion. The pine helps get the fire started very easily. The pinion burns so nice and hot........ and I rarely have to "stir the fire". It burns so well I can just relax and enjoy it. The pinion smells amazing! The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful."
