"This service was great. The delivery was early, the driver was very communicative and extremely nice. The product was of my expectations, and the quantity was VERY generous. The only complaint that I would have would be the price, half cord of birch $400. However, they delivered a bit more than a half cord in my opinion, so, I’m happy with it. Plus, everything is more expensive these days. The first photo was the half cord, the second is what was left. Very generous."
"I’m a repeat buyer of Best Split Firewood and just had 1 cord of wood delivered to my house. The load came with a 128 cubic feet cordoned off in a large truck which was neatly stacked verifying the volume. I greatly appreciate their effort to ensure their customers are receiving the volume of wood purchased. This company is very effective at communicating with their clientele. I understand ordering wood in January you get more moisture in the wood but have left over seasoned wood to burn as this dries out in our greenhouse. Very good experience!"
"I've bought like 8 bundles in an emergency its so wet I can't get it to burn i should have know better the bundles were so heavy for "dry" wood really someone need to do prper moisture check on a thawed peice inside no way it been at the legal limit it sizzling water out best wood my but an ain't the first time either just its 40 freakin below like wth, pic is over 30 min trying to get it going just a few red embers edit here- i see you responded but no excuses here Moisture Testing & Documentation: The seller must use a DEC-approved moisture meter to test the wood. Disclosure Forms: A triplicate Moisture Content Disclosure Form must be completed for the delivery. Signatures: Both the delivering seller and the store representative must sign the form to acknowledge the wood's moisture level. Labeling: All wood intended for resale must be clearly labeled as "dry wood" if it meets the 20% threshold. State of Alaska No excuses you should be checking and so should the store an now they should be pulled but I doubt that'll happen right i shouldn't have to come back shouldn't have to make thing right etc"
"Excellent service and product .Wood is clean and cut to ordered length .Suggest your first order be double the amount to allow wood to season. I.E. This winter I am burning the cord I ordered last fall.Likewise this years order just delivered will be burned next winter . Also they have always sold me a true cord 4X4x8.Highly recommend."
