"H & K Woods was an amazing place to buy the wood I was looking for. They were very helpful, and wanted to get me the best piece of lumber they could. If it looked like it wouldn't fit my project, and I said so, they went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for, and were very enthusiastic about doing so. I'll be going back to buy more, when I'm done with my current projects. Especially because they have very well prices exotics! Very stoked about that."
"I've bought rough-cut lumber twice from H&K Woods and feel like I've been treated very fair each time. They've had a good selection of wood species and sizes both times I've been there. They have a smaller selection of boards in one storage area that will often take care of smaller projects. For larger projects, allow a bit of time for them to unstack the larger piles of wood and for you to go through them looking for the right boards."
"Nice people, very helpful and Lynn is always close to a smile. They have a good selection at a much better price than box stores. Not just local woods, they have a large selection of exotics, and not just a single board. If you have a project, they have the wood. Sawmill, so wood will be rough, not sanded. A 1in board will be 1in thick, not 3/4..."
