"I called Wilk to inquire about the price of their firewood. The lady who answered the phone told me that the price was $275 per cord with free delivery to Rutland. I told her that I lived 45 minutes away from Rutland and asked what the cost would be if I picked up and loaded it into my truck myself. She became very nasty and belligerent raising her voice saying to me "the price is $275 and I don't care if you load it yourself one stick at a time !' She then smugly added and bragged saying "no one has any wood and we're the only ones who have wood and we' re going to be raising the price to $300 a cord very soon. " Talk about price gouging when people are in need. (Attention: Better Business Bureau !) I'll never buy any firewood from them no matter how much it is. I'll break up my furniture first !"
"I've gotten wood delivered 2 times so far this year from Wilks. Carol was very friendly as were both delivery drivers. I will definitely continue to get my wood from them in the future."
