"Second time I have received a load of kiln dried wood from Doug. Wood is clean and burns very well. Load size is more than fair. Doug is also very good with communicating his schedule and any delays. Used to cut and split many cords to heat the house but at this point I’m limiting that work to fire pit wood. Kiln dried is so much cleaner than seasoned and worth the extra cost in my opinion. Would highly recommend Doug for your firewood needs."
"Doug’s kiln dried wood is fabulous and he’s a very prompt and friendly communicator. Our chimney sweeps comment year after year on how clean our chimney is using this wood. We first had a delivery in fall 2020 when we moved to our new home and those 4 cords of wood lasted us until very recently. As the price of heating oil is so high we are relying more on our stove to heat our home, and as we didn’t manage our woodpiles as well as we should have this summer we just needed more delivered (mid winter)… to our delight Doug was able to get wood delivered to us with a great turnaround time! If you’re in northern Windham county, this should be your go to source for kiln dried wood! Nothing else compares!"
