"I bought two boxes of the 8-inch split Post Oak. The guy who helped me was super friendly and made feel welcome (the Schertz guy). The two boxes each 2 cu feet fit nicely in back of SUV. I opened the boxes at home and the wood looks very nice and dry and cut just right--they store the boxes of wood in a large shipping container protected from the elements. I haven't use the wood but it looks really really good and "seasoned"--there is minimal bark on the wood. I will post again after I get around to smoking some meat in a few weeks. Overall, a great experience and also what looks to be a great product at a good enough price point for me."
