Westwood Forestry

About Westwood Forestry
Westwood Forestry supplies firewood delivery throughout West Linn, making it straightforward to stock your home with quality hardwood for the heating season. Their mixed hardwood offerings provide the heat output and burn consistency that homeowners depend on for reliable fireplace and wood stove performance.
Mixed hardwoods—typically a blend that may include oak, maple, and similar species—deliver solid BTU output, ranging from 24 to 28 million BTU per cord depending on the species composition and wood moisture content. For comparison, premium hardwoods like hickory reach 27 to 30 million BTU per cord. The key to maximizing heat is ensuring your firewood reaches the 15–20% moisture threshold before burning. Westwood Forestry handles the delivery logistics, so you avoid the time investment of sourcing and transporting cords yourself.
When ordering firewood in West Linn, understand cord measurements: a full cord equals 128 cubic feet, while half-cord and quarter-cord options suit smaller needs or storage constraints. Pricing for delivered hardwood in the West Linn area typically ranges from $200 to $350 per cord, depending on volume, delivery distance, and seasonal demand.
Westwood Forestry holds a 3.8-star rating based on customer feedback, reflecting consistent service. Contact them at (503) 744-0609 to discuss your delivery needs, confirm wood type availability, and arrange scheduling. Ask about delivery windows and whether stacking is included—these details shape the final logistics of your order.

Read all 8 reviews on Google"I wanted to share my experience with this firewood company, and unfortunately, it’s not a good one. This year, I decided to buy firewood because what I had on hand didn’t seem fully seasoned. I spoke with someone on the phone who assured me that their firewood was indeed fully seasoned. Sadly, that turned out to be far from the truth. I ordered a mix of fir and hardwood, but what I received was mainly fir (about 90%) and only a small amount of hardwood. The hardwood was seasoned, but the fir was freshly cut, which means it’s not ideal for burning right away. On top of that, I ordered and paid for 4 cords, but when I stacked it all, it came out to less than 3 cords. To make matters worse, I also got a bunch of wood scraps and debris—definitely not what I was expecting. It seems like they just scoop up all the leftover bits to fill up the truck and deliver it as "wood." I reached out to the company for help a few days ago, but no one has responded yet. After looking at other reviews, it seems like this kind of issue is pretty common with them. Overall, this company lacks integrity, and I’d recommend staying clear if you’re looking for honest service."
"I ordered 3 cords of wood. It ended up being about 2.5 cords. I messaged them and they asked me to respond back with the exact measurements. I responded back a week ago with measurements and have not gotten a response back. Maybe they are just busy. I will update review if I get resolution. Update, they did end up bringing me the other half cord and made things right. It was not as well seasoned as the other 2.5 cords."
"Update: Still a speedy experience but the quality of the wood has definitely declined. Probably my third order with Westwood and this wood was noticeably more knotted and curved as well as dirty. Better experience than two other vendors I've used in the area. Answered phone call right away, was happy to provide their service and was able to deliver within a week."
"The person making the delivery was great. I ordered a cord and 1/4 was kindling and little pieces! I was quoted one price and after the "kindling" was delivered, the price changed from $400 to $420. The actual firewood is cut in pieces 5"- 36". I have 3 garbage cans and 4 large boxes of little pieces that cannot be stacked. I needed firewood for my wood stove. The wood might be good for a fireplace or camp fire."
"With all the chaos of the Snowpocalypse, everything's been out of firewood. The little firewood we've gotten from other places has been of poor quality - barely catching, and burning quickly. This place has plenty of good quality hardwood, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We'll be coming here from now on!"
