"3/1/2026 My daughter & I visited this place this past Friday for the 1st time ever. Didn't realize the business was 12 mins from me. Driving there you would think that it's just homes & no businesses but when you see the enormous piles of wood, you'll know you're at the right place. I gave the place 4 stars because the pricing was upfront not only in person but also on their website, the guy who helped us was polite & even told us about a critter that got in the roof of the shed there.🤭 I would've given them 5 stars BUT as a NEW customer, knowing who to talk to (owner of business) was confusing as we didn't know who the workers were. Maybe having on a Hot Stuff shirt would help newbies identify the workers! 😉 I purchased the hickory mini logs for my little fire pit. A good slow burn is what I wanted that the wood I got from Kroger didn't have. When I run out I will return to Hot Stuff."
"This is my first time having a fireplace in my home and I was looking for a wood supplier that was knowledgeable. After looking at some other places, I drove 45 minutes to the lot and I'm so glad I did. Everything was SUPER organized, super clean, and the gentleman that helped us out was insanely nice. He helped us choose what would be best in our fireplace and loaded it up for us. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They definitely have a permanent customer with us."
"After seeing the offerings of some of my local firewood sellers, I came across Hot Stuff, LLC's website. After checking out the site, I made the 40 minute drive to Hot Stuff to give them a try, and I'm glad I did. Just like their website, the lot was clean and organized, and the firewood cleanly stacked in IBC cages. Richard, the owner, was extremely helpful. He walked me through the lot and helped me make my choice(s) a little more educated. I made my purchase and am looking forward to warming the house up tonight with some cherry firewood from Hot Stuff, my new, not so local, firewood supplier. I will be back!"
"Very pleasant and easy experience and process. Pulled in, spoke with the owners, decided on what my needs were and what would be best. Backed my truck up to a tote, and started loading it in, the owners helped and not saying they will help everyone load but we had a nice conversation and spoke about other companies. Will definitely be going back and absolutely appreciated my time and purchase from them!"
