"Definitely a rip off, sold me not even a half a cord for 325$. It was supposed to be a whole cord, 121 pieces exactly i wasn't available when delivered or i wouldn't have taken it, the way they stack it is 2 long ways 2 side ways to make it look big, i will never buy from here again and i hope this helps someone make a decision. Its a shame. Edit it was 340$ not 325$"
"John and his team delivered as promised. Hard-working, polite and efficient. They took down three trees, one very large, and removed the stumps. They left me a pile of wood to use in a fire pit, put down wood mats to protect the lawn and took care with surrounding sheds and newly planted shrubs. My yard is excessively soggy right now. It could have been a disaster to have the work done while so wet. John assured me it would not be a problem. Other than a few unavoidable divets in the yard I'll need to fill, there's hardly any sign they were here. Except of coarse the missing trees! LOL. The care they took really shows their experience! They completely cleaned up the front yard and street as well. Thank you for the hard work!"
"John’s Tree Service is hard to beat! They came out and did a free quote , which came back lower than anyone else I had come look at the property and did more work than any else was offering to do. They quoted it on a Saturday and we had an appointment set up for the removal that very next Friday. They showed up right on time and had everything done in one day. Included in the removal was hauling everything, grinding down the stumps and complete clean up. I could not be happier with the service and kindness that John’s Tree Service provided. I would without a doubt recommend them to anyone who is looking for any type of tree services."
"I’ve been purchasing one cord of wood, annually, for decades. Ordered one cord of wood from them this year which turned into a disaster that simply didn’t need to be. They missed the day of their initial scheduled delivery, then delivered on a different day completely unannounced. They dumped a cord of wood that was scheduled to be stacked. All of this could have been worked out had the owners been willing to correct their mistake, return to stack their wood, and collect any additional stacking fee for that service. First, the owner refused to recognize any possibility of mistake and opted, instead, to claim that I “must be mental”. Then the owner threatened me. When I instructed them to pick up their wood I was met with, “I’ll be picking up my wood and I’ll be bringing a couple of guys with me so be sure to be there”. Customer service skills are not their expertise. If you’re looking for a wood delivery that will be dumped (not stacked), and will arrive on any day that suits them, then John’s Firewood is the place for you."
