"Called to ask about them providing ice for a repeat 500+ headcount event and the person who took my call was extremely rude and unprofessional. He insulted me on the phone by saying that I "was all over the place". Even if he wasn't prepared to take an order at that moment and couldn't understand what I was asking, in the least you shouldn't insult people to their face. Also, he wouldn't look up previous invoices to see what Armata Ice had done for my organization's past events. This may be a family business, but they're not professional nor pleasant. Going elsewhere."
"Anthony, owner of Armato Ice, truly brought back my belief that white glove service, top notch professionalism and overall desire to help a customer solve a challenge by going well above and beyond, still exists. COMMUNICATIONS - As a potential retail (not wholesale) customer, Anthony replied to all my emails, as I sought to figure out how to get frozen food from point A to point B - a 5 day car drive in the summer. He never dropped the ball, was extremely responsive and provided details of the type and amount of dry ice I needed to solve my challenge. TEAMWORK - Anthony worked with me to figure out what I needed, how I needed to pack the frozen food in the coolers to ensure optimal (longest lasting) benefit of the dry ice. We coordinated his routine of being at his uptown warehouse, with my need to leave the city early, for an early morning pick-up. DEPENDABILITY, TRANSPARENCY AND INTEGRITY - I can't say enough. In this day and age of ghosting, cutting corners, overpromising, surprise charges or purchases that fall short of expectations, Anthony was adamant about not overpromising what he could delivery during a pandemic, post-hurricane, and more. He underpromised and overdelivered. It was an amazing customer experience. PRODUCT AND SERVICE - Anthony and team were waiting for me uptown, and packed my coolers with dry ice and proceeded to wrap them tightly closed with plastic wrap so the ice would last longer. He and his team were kind, professional and fun during what could have been a small transaction. RESULTS - After a 5 day cross-country drive (Labor Day weekend - which means it was hot), my food arrived still frozen and in great condition. See photos. I'm not sure this would have been the case, had the extra precautions not been taken. Go with Armato Ice. You will be in great hands. My purchase was small and I was treated as though I was a long-standing important/large customer. Anthony is about building relationships with all who cross his path, which will pay off in spades. I will use Armato again without hesitation, and will recommend to family and friends. He runs a great operation. Do not hesitate to give him your business."

"I’ve been meaning to write this review for months. Anthony and his team were so wonderfully accommodating and dependable! Back in October 2020, I looked for dry ice providers and went to locations that advertised they were open, but when I got there, they were not. I was traveling the next day, moving to another location to ride out the pandemic, and needed to ensure my food was fresh. I called Anthony and he said that “if you can get here early in the morning before we start rounds, I’ll take care of you.” I came with my car fully packed for travel and he ensured that everything was perfect for the 4 hour drive. They were all so very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help all they could. I greatly appreciate this kind of customer service. It’s a rarity these days. Stay safe guys!"
