"Just got my fireplace working a few weeks back. Never used it before after being here for 6 years. Was tired of buying wood at local gas stations ~ Home Depot as it felt like it was getting too much. $8.99 for a bag of 7 pieces that would last 4 hours. Anywho, googled firewood in Westchester, came across Freds Firewood and actually seen his truck 2 days later and asked for prices. Decided to do it. Called on Saturday and got Fred even tho they are closed. Made a deal for a 1/2 cord Saturday afternoon, delivered Monday morning. Dumped it where I needed it, now it is all stacked and stored. Would love to use him again, but with this much wood, it may take till next season!! Thanks Fred ~ John"

He is always very nice on the phone and do his best to accommodate. Delivery always on time, great price and great quality product. They also pack the wood for you in your garage if you need to. "We've been ordering cords from Fred's for 4 years now. The wood is high quality hardwoods and always well seasoned. It is cut into generally consistently sized pieces. The first year, we opted to stack the wood ourselves and it was more difficult than we had planned. So each year after that, we've had Fred's employees stack it for us and they always do a tidy and well-organized job. We use the wood in both our indoor fireplace and our outdoor fire pit. As long as we live within the delivery radius, we'll be ordering from Fred's."
