Tommy, who delivered the wood was very friendly and knowledgeable as well and had good advice on the best way to store and burn the firewood. Overall, great service and I’ll definitely be calling again when we are ready for more firewood!"
"What a sad month dealing with this company. Eagerly awaited my 1/2 cord for several weeks due to demand. Tommy was very professional at drop off, but right away something seemed off: much of the “seasoned” wood had a thick mud coating on it. Brought a bunch in the house, waited for it to warm up, and lit it up. Nothing. Waited 10 days with the wood indoors staked next to a heater. Still wouldn’t burn. See video of water actually boiling out of a log. Called the company repeatedly and left messages. No call back. Finally spoke to someone who said there was new management, and they would try to pick up the wood and give me new wood. Never happened. Over one month after trying to get firewood, finally got charges reversed on my credit card today. It’s hard to imagine being treated by a company this way, after explaining to 2 different employees that the wood was for a cold house that a newborn was being brought home to. They must be going through an upheaval at this company. I am back to buying expensive wood bundles at the grocery store. At least it burns."
"BEST PRICE & SHOPPING + DELIVERY Experience HIGHLY RECOMMEND The place we usually buy firewood from was out of our budget. (like WAY out of budget). So I went to the google machine and after some searching, found NY NJ Firewood. The price was 1/3 what we were paying elsewhere. Called, spoke with a lovely rep (apologies for not remembering her name!), she answered all my questions, provided a quote, took payment, scheduled delivery window. Delivery was within 3 days (I called Friday, received delivery Monday) - Delivery driver was well within 2 hour window; nice, professional, kind, personable. The wood was dumped EXACTLY where we requested. The wood is perfect for our wood burning stove, all hardwood, perfectly seasoned, clean and ready for use."
