"Where to begin? The wood wasn’t very good. Lots of scraps. But, worse was that it was not two full cords. It was barely one and a quarter cords. Made numerous attempts to contact to let him make it right but never responded. Avoid. Total ripoff..........Follow Up Response: Well now you are going to lie and bring up history rather than address the complaint. Apparently your sense of distance is about as bad as your sense of of what a "full" cord is. The hill isn't that steep and it isn't 100 ft. But never the less you didn't address the fact that you shorted me almost a full cord of wood. And what you did deliver was filled with crap. Yes I had you dump it because your fees to stack are unreasonable. Wasn't easy to tell from the pile that it wasn't two FULL cords. But once it was stacked it was clear you ripped me off. Maybe you don't know the difference between a face cord and a full cord?Trust me. You don't have to worry about my business ever again, because it won't be forthcoming. I would rather freeze than buy wood from a scammer like you. You say you blocked me, but the texts were read. You didn't block me until after the third or fourth text.I notice you responded to this bad review in a pretty timely manner though. Maybe if you responded to my initial texts instead of ignoring them I wouldn't have left you a bad review. I wasn't going to, but then I decided I would try to help others. This could have been avoided if you had only responded to my complaint. Maybe we could have worked something out. This isn't an honest business man. Look elsewhere for wood. You can see his other reviews. He always has an excuse. And the problem is once he screws you, he is long gone with your cash."
"I would give this guy a 0 if it were possible! I made an appointment weeks in advance for wood delivery. I left work early to meet him, waited and never heard from him. I called and texted him but received no response. To this day I have heard nothing from him. He brags about being booked up weeks in advance... If he treats everyone the way he treated us he won't be booked out for long! Just thought I would share this guys treatment of customers! There are too many honest, respectable people selling wood in our area to do business with someone like him."
"Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I left a voice message and a text message but no one followed up with me. I guess they don't want my business. I stand by my review. I was doing exactly what your rant says I didn't do. I was not out of firewood and didn't need an immediate restock. As a matter of fact,I have enough to finish this season. I was restocking for next year so the wood would season. So I could have waited a week or two or even a month. I called several times over several days with no answer. I assumed you were busy and I would get you later. I drove to the location on the website, but seeing no activity, I thought I was in the wrong place. It was then I left a voice message. After no reply, I left a text message. Still no response. See, if you had contacted me to ascertain my need, you could have serviced me at your convenience. And gotten a better review."
"Called, left a voicemail and sent a text because the website said that would be the fastest response....he never returned my call or text but did respond to a neighbor of mine who contacted him after I left the voicemail and text. It truly is a shame because he brought us wood a few years ago and was a great guy personally. HOWEVER im super disappointed that he never contacted me. Not a way to do good business at all."
