This season i was up there a lot more and really got a grasp of what LT has to offer on their mountain. I started skiing there and i highly recommend it to any skill level. They truly have something for everyone. This year I finally got comfortable with LTs double blacks and let me tell you, they don’t let down (although i still have some work to do on the terrain park). It doesn’t stop at the terrain! Lost trail has great staff and ski patrol who add to the already great experience. I can easily say I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff members at lost trail and the ski patrol are very knowledgeable and can help with just about anything. The prices are also very good too. Ive seen reviews regarding how Lost Trails prices have gone up, although they aren’t what they used to be they’re still very good for what you get. When comparing these prices to other resorts in Montana they still hold up. My only complaint are the chair lifts being quite uncomfortable to sit on (especially on chair 4) and only having two people on each chair can be tricky for large groups. but it’s nothing to be too unhappy about. Lost trail will always hold a special place in my heart for just how good it is. I can do nothing but recommend it to you if you want to get up on the mountain this winter! With great runs, great staff, and great powder, it’s the perfect place to ski!"
"Lost trail is pretty sweet. Everyone I met was was there for a good time. Good vibes and no drama. A very family friendly mountain that I'll recommend endlessly. Went up New Years eve and it was busy but not crowded. Plenty of terrain open to fill the day. Lot's of space for every kind of skiier/boarder to play in. This year has been pretty slow on snow but we've got plenty of winter left in Montana! Pray for snow"
"*Lost Trail does not support veterans* Not sure if my old post was removed or if I forgot to share. Returning from deployment in 2022, I was delayed getting home and didn't get to utilize my season pass I spent $500 on. I called and left voicemails for months. When I finally got through to a worker, their had "just stopped offering refunds or moving passes to next season." Convenient. I was refused the opportunity to talk to a supervisor. End of story. Pretty horrible way to treat someone who just sacrificed a year of their life. Just didn't want this story forgotten."
"I love Lost Trail and even living down in Missoula it's still worth it for me to buy a season pass there! Thursday on a storm week is a great time to go for Powder days. There's also great long groomers off of Chair4 and Chair2. The food in the lodge is really good and reasonably priced for a ski area, but it can be a little slow at times so I don't recommend if it's super busy in there. There's also an area at mid level where you can bring your own lunch. The Yurt at Chair3 is also a good spot to stop at and warm up!"
"Really don't like the rfid nonsense that you HAVE to buy with a lift ticket. Like what happened to the standard lift ticket on your jacket to keep costs low to the consumer and keep it affordable for everyone."
