"Worked with Jim to get two truckloads of 5 face cord delivered. Jim and the delivery driver were very courteous and easy to work with. Delivery took a little longer to finally happen than I would have like, but that was due to unforseen circumstances and sometimes that is just life. Wood was delivered after we had a fairly significant rain so it is very difficult to get burning. We're probably just going to stack it and use our propane furnace instead of this wood. I don't see this as their fault as incliment weather cannot be controlled. A few things that I will knock them for. We told them that we need 16" firewood for our woodstove and that is what they delivered, however approximately 30-40% of the wood needs to be split again as it is going to be too large to fit, or too unweildly for my fiance. Some pieces weren't even split at all. Second, on the delivery day the driver said he'd be back with the second load, but never returned. I get things happen, but some kind of notification that he wouldn't be back would have been nice. Instead I am stuck in a holding pattern waiting for the second delivery which didn't come. They called the next day to let us know they'd deliver it that morning, which they did, but we were not going to be home and had to make arrangements to pay them. Overall, okay experience, price is decent for delivered. I think it should burn well next winter. Best advice is to plan ahead which we were not able to do this year, which puts us in this situation."
"I am extremely displeased with the "dry" wood I received. It seems the wood has not been properly seasoned and could very well have been cut immediately before delivery. A significant amount of time - exceeding three hours - is necessary to achieve a decent fire. The audible sizzling sounds are a clear indication of excessive moisture. As a result, I will not make any future purchases from this supplier and will recommend that my friends who use wood-burning appliances explore other options."
"This company is working in some woods are that our private maintained rd leads to ,very unprofessional company, the workers are flying down the rd in there semis and 3/4 ton trucks ,had no permission to tear up our private rd that myself and my neighbors paid for ,I went out to talk to a crew member named Adam his coworker threatened me and tried to start a fight ,threw his coat to the ground and got all belligerent..bad company no respect for surrounding community .."
"I'm not sure about your products, but your driver that almost forced my wife and I off the road is cause for a 1 star review. The drivers represent your company. This driver was also driving 10 miles an hour or more above the speed limit, and was cutting other vehicles off. I have a date, time and a photo if the license plate (only because this speed maniac was stuck at a stop light) in case anyone from this company cares enough to ask for it. This driver is going to harm someone."
"Paid 70 a face cord for 10 face cord, 700, plus delivery fee, for seasoned oak, got a truckload of green maple, most pieces had to be split again! I tried calling back twice, no answer! Finally reached Rob now, he said in 9 years he has never had a complaint!! LOL 6 months later, the wood is still too green to burn!! Do Not Buy From Them!!!!"
