"We always stop here before camping at Wilderness State Park. They have everything you need such as campfire popcorn, stakes, meat, beer, snacks and much much more! We purchased 1 box of kindling, a wagon bundle and tied bundle of firewood. This lasted us Saturday - Tuesday with a few pieces left over."

"Hit the trails of Wilderness Park at the Nebo Trailhead, 2.5 miles from the Trading Post. We rented a fat-tire bike for me and mt. bike for my teenaged daughter. I definitely recommend the e-bike. My daughter is an athlete, so the mt. bike handled fine for her. But, we encountered all kinds of terrain, included having to fjord across water features. The fat tires and e-bike power really helped me paddle through the muck and at one point some sand. I'd even go so far as to say it is the best way to experience these trails because it got us out to the single track quickly, then handled the trails. I imagine hiking I'd have ended up with mucky shoes and been exhausted and bitten to heck by bugs. Get the e-bike! Just don't use it full electric or the battery will die and you'll be pedaling a heavy bike back to the shop. I was out there for 18 miles and came back with just under half battery left."

"Good selection near the state park. Expensive fire wood tho, would choose to buy fire wood else where, $25 didn’t get us much quantity. Drove down to lake paradise and found a huge stack of wood for $7 bought two of them and had more wood then what the $25 wagon held."

"The Cecil Bay Trading Post is hands down the best at what they do. Their prices are honest and fair and they have everything a camper needs. They have so many extra indulgences too, as many reviewers have mentioned. For me, it's firewood and ice. It's so close to the state camp grounds that I know I will be well taken care of without too much time away from what I came to do, camp. Their wood is the best quality and burns so consistently. I always grab a box of kindling too. I even grab an extra on my way home. It's the best quality. I'm prepping for my trip in late summer and am going to give their kayak rentals a try this year. I'll update my review with my experience, but I know they are going to knock it out of the park. I've been camping at Wilderness for the past 4 years, and I keep staying longer each time. I'm at the max of 2 weeks this summer. As I prep for my trip, I know anything I forget I can get at the trading post. Thank you for taking such great pride in your business and supporting the community of campers all summer long."
