"We had the same experience as the poster below. Ordered and paid $300/chord for hardwood described as "seasoned" and ready to burn this winter. Then when the wood arrived, we were informed it had been kept log length until recently, and only split when it was ready to be delivered. That is -not- seasoned firewood, and sure enough, it's full of water and will not burn. This is not usable, and will have to dry until next year meaning we need to place a second order elsewhere. Do not use Bolstridge unless you're ordering a season ahead. They are murky and obscure about what they're selling, and basically overcharge for green wood. Attaching photos of water boiling off our "ready-for-this-winter", non-burning wood."

"Waited 2 months for my order and it was never delivered. I was originally quoted 2-3 weeks for delivery. Instead of them updating me on the status I had to reach out on several occasions and I kept being told "it will be a few more weeks". After 2 months I got tried of waiting and ordered from someone else. Only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because their employee Kaitlyn was pleasant, and they had good pricing at $300 a chord (although I never got a chance to see if the wood was good)"

"These guys were excellent. Ordered my wood late spring for the next cold season and they had it out to me well before I needed it and was able to stack it while the weather was still beautiful. I ordered 3 cord and got 3 cords stacked and measured of perfectly seasoned hardwood."

"I got wood from them a couple years ago a and it was dry enough but not great. I had to call them a few times to get a delivery. I decided to try them again this year and it was bad. I called over a couple of months ago for 2 chords and was told 2-3 weeks. I let weeks go by and reached out again. Was told there they were short staffed and they would contact when ready. I let more time go by and reached out again. Was told hopefully within a couple of days. After another week I said do what’s necessary to get fired wood out this week and heard nothing. Today (12/10) I called a different company and am having wood delivered 12/15 at a specific time. I don’t appreciate the lack of communication and quite frankly misleading to get an order. If I knew I wouldn’t get wood until mid December I would have done things differently and now I’ve gone a couple of months without wood. For a lot of people firewood is a necessity in the cold time of year and for this company to mislead like they do isn’t right and is impacting people in a real way. Even if they would have been more transparent and honest I wouldn’t be so frustrated. I will say they were nice enough when I reached out but the other factors I just spoke of left a very bad impression on me and they will not get my business again. I truly think this company needs to figure out how to be a real business and I wish them luck in the future."

"Do not use. Absolutely terrible!!! I ordered one cord and it was delivered after 3 weeks as they projected, however it was really wet and difficult to burn. Decided to order another cord in October in hopes of having it delivered and stacked before snow. More than 2 months later its still not delivered after being jerked around and told it would be delivered several times I finally demanded my money back. Completely awful communication."
