"Cannot recommend ordering firewood. I ordered two cords and had over 5 wheel barrels of dirt and mulch. Sent them pictures and was told that should never happen because they have a Skelton bucket. The boss was supposed contact me but they have since gone ghost. Last year I had the same issue with very dirty wood and loads of mulch/dirt."
"The firewood is very hard to get lit. Some pieces are so big it looks like half the tree trunk and will not burn well in a small fireplace (2nd pic). There was so much dirt left in the driveway when the firewood was dumped (1st pic shows the dirt all over my wood). I've been trying to get the wood started and its smoking so bad to get started its leaving me with terrible headaches. The fireplace was just cleaned so it should be perfect to get seasoned wood going. I'm really disappointed. I wrote them an email explaining my experience here and nothing back yet to resolve. I wont be a repeat customer due to this experience. I didnt agree to receiving unseasoned wood for $120 and for very large logs i cant even get going. Its smoking up my whole house trying to start it and making me sick. :( smoke smell stays for days after i tried to do a fire with your wood. I've never had a delivery like this. You wont get repeat customers selling this low quality to locals and not resolving their complaints."
"Ordered a bunch of firewood from Mitsdarfer Bros. All the places I’ve ordered before were difficult to get a hold of and just generally hard to communicate with. I called Mitsdarfer once and immediately got a super helpful person who scheduled the delivery and gave a pretty small time window for it. The delivery was right on time and they dropped it right where I wanted even though I wasn’t there. The wood was cheaper and, on average, dryer than what I’ve ordered in the past. So far our stove is happy and I’m happy. I’ll be ordering from them again for sure. Update: needed a bit more to top off the supply for the season. Obviously on average it isn't quite as dry but there was still some good stuff in the mix. I think it was probably the most I've gotten per cord ordered so I'm quite happy. So it wasn't a fluke the first time around."
