"I would leave zero stars for the customer service portion if i could . Jerry was rude when he called me back when i was inquiring about pricing and types of wood he carried . I told him i was getting quotes for delivery for saturday and he said immediately the other shops were more and didnt deliver or stack . I responded i actually have quotes for 4 locatioms and all but one deliver and stack and i wasnt trying to bad mouth any companies i just wanted to get a quote . He immediately got confrontational and said he wasnt gonna argue , he is the cheapest and has the best wood available I responded i was trying to see if his prices were compefitive to the quotes i have and he said there was no competition and quoted prices to me i said he was a bit higher than 3 of the 4 i had recieved and before i could even say thank you for your time he said goodbye and hung up .. I wouldnt use a company who talks over me and is so rude and short with a potential customer and would reccomend rays firewood or valley firewood over jerrys . Rays is cheaped and same quality and valley is a bit more pricey but the service is top notch. I work in a customer service industry and part of the job requires listening and not being confrontational.. im truly in shock as to how he talked over me and cut me off anytime i said a key words he didnt like ie competitive , quotes or best price . He was stuck on hes the best and bad mouthing the other companies for different reasons .. if you have to bad mouth others to promote your product that shows character and if you get angry when a customer says they have used a company before and dont want to bad mouth them why would or should that anger him ?? He clearly has control and anger issues and im sure other reviews will refelct that as well"
