"Well, that didn’t work out. First time customer of S&T. Ordered a face chord of mixed hardwoods, naturally seasoned. S&T had the best price in the area including delivery. I was unable to be at home when they delivered. S&T put the firewood in my driveway where I had specified. However, the quality of the wood was poor. At first appearance I could tell that most of the wood had not been fully seasoned. I split several of the pieces and the average internal moisture content was 35%. In the end 80% of the load is going to be unusable for at least another year. Telephoned S&T right away and spoke with the same person that I had previously scheduled delivery with. There was some back and forth about whether the wood was seasoned or not. Fortunately, I spent a bit of my youth cutting, splitting, stacking, and using firewood for heating, so I could readily identify all the problems with this load. S&T volunteered to refund my money for the load, and run over a face chord of cherry for free. I agreed to the refund but I do not have anywhere to store another face chord, and I certainly do not need another unusable load of wood. I will not use again. Pictures of the load added."

"Called for a cord of oak firewood and it was delivered within a couple days. Delivery day was confirmed by phone call, and even got a text when delivery was 30 minutes away.16" lengths are perfect for my Lopi insert. Wood burns really nice, starts easily, and i got a bag of kindling included with the load. Highly recommend."
