"If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired Lake Country Land Clearing to clear our .5 acre wooded lot in preparation for a new build. Owner was very communicative initially and gave a very competitive quote. Was told that he would start the job within a week of being given the go ahead. He dropped equipment at our lot, cut a tree and disappeared. We checked our lot weekly and when a month had gone by with no movement or change, I sent a letter to the owner demanding he remove his equipment and advising we would be exploring other companies. Suddenly, we were back on his schedule and were told he would have our lot cleared in the next four days. I stopped out to see if he had showed up, and was able to talk to him face-to-face. He provided a story about issues his business had been having, but they had been resolved, so he was 100% able to finish our job. He worked on the lot for about a week, did not finish, and disappeared again. After multiple emails, phone calls, voice mails, and letters, no response was given and his equipment remains parked on my lot. We have had to push back the dates for our build and hire another company to finish the job. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!"
