"Update: I am editing my review because the owner promptly reached out with an offer to make it right. Unfortunately, we had already moved down the road to another campground and were not able to get back for the refund. We did try to use the second bundle at the next campsite, with the same results, so I would encourage the owner to try and burn some of that wood himself. Maybe it was just a bad batch? We saw this place on Google (always try and shop local!), and went and picked up 2 bundles for the campfire. Terrible wood! It wouldn’t stay lit and just smoked and smoked. My husband had to use the bellows on it constantly in order for me to cook a piece of fish. It would barely even burn the kindling we cracked. We travel and camp all over and this is some of the worst wood we’ve ever had. I just hope they’re keeping the good wood for the fireplace customers. I should have just lit my $10 bill on fire and thrown it in the pit. (And the campers next to us had the same pit and had a beautiful raging fire going, so it was not that!)"
