"The crew did an excellent job removing our old wood fireplace and installing the new gas unit. They explained things along the way and were professional and courteous. They also did a great job keeping the area clean."
"I bought a gas (LP) cast iron stove to replace my wood-burning stove. Erik D., Project Manager, was wonderful to work with. Will (team lead) and Victor did the removal and installation. Will and Victor were courteous, professional yet friendly, efficient, and highly capable. What I appreciated most about installation was the team's intent to have everything done absolutely perfectly from the standpoint of safety, and their desire to make sure I was 100% happy with how things looked aesthetically. They measured to make sure everything was PERFECTLY centered on my hearth, every little scratch on the pipe from installation was touched up with paint, the LP gas tubing and electrical wires were tucked out of sight as best as possible, and all the dust, etc. from installation was removed before leaving. I simply could not be happier with the entire experience and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new free-standing cast iron gas stove. Thank you Top Hat!"

"I had the old heating stove in my bedroom replaced today by Will and Victor, and they did a terrific job! They were courteous, professional, warm, and helpful. They made me feel comfortable right away. They put down a covering to protect my carpeting while they worked. They knew just what to look for when searching for the gas shut-off in the basement because I didn't know where it was. When they were almost finished, they tested the gas pressure coming in to the stove and found it was too high and fluctuating wildly. They checked the gas pressure in my living room fireplace and found a similar situation. Will had me call MG&E to have them come check it out before finalizing the installation. He said he figured it was a bad regulator. The technician from MG&E said he was impressed that Will had checked the pressure because not all installers take the time to do that. And, sure enough, the regulator was bad. After it was replaced, and we tested a couple of appliances, I called Will and Victor and they came back to finish the job. They showed me what I need to know to light the pilot, adjust the flame height, etc. They even fixed an issue I was having with my living room fireplace cover. They really know what they are doing, did it well, and cared that I understood how to use the stove going forward. I am extremely happy with the service they provided and will recommend them to anyone."
"A huge shoutout to Top Hat Baraboo for helping us make our 2 “unusable” fireplaces not only usable but warm & beautiful! Roy was intelligent & thoughtful helping us figure out what would work while Will & Victor, who came to do all of the clean out, chimney work & install everything were kind, efficient & do creatively stunning work. We were left with no clean up and a thorough understanding of how to take care of it all. We are grateful for all of the assistance, how quickly they got us on the schedule & how fast the installs were, despite wicked weather.
