"Very friendly, and honest folks. No credit cards accepted, so go prepared. It was a nice drive and the most economical firewood source I've found near Columbia. We stopped in to say hi at the office, weighed our vehicle, loaded up, reweighed, then paid. We got seasoned wood the first trip, but will go back for the green wood for our next trip."
"I loaded wood into the back of a Ram 1500 regular size bed. I only loaded enough so that my tri-fold bed cover would close. I loaded the "dry" fireplace wood that is located directly in front of the building. It cost $195... I never paid close to that amount when it was Gabby's. I was trying to support a local business, but I won't buy from them again. I can have a full bed of cured wood delivered and stacked for that much. I'm glad I didn't load up like I have in the past. I'm not really even that upset with the pricing. It's the fact that there is a sign next to the wood that reads, " Dry Wood". The wood was in fact rain soaked. Put a tarp over the wood if it's going to rain. People want to pay for wood, not water."
