"This is bottom of the barrel stuff, dirty and nasty. Looks like it’s been laying directly on the ground for a long time. I had a hard time finding pieces that would span my log rack. Don’t get this wood if you plan on trying to keep warm in your house. Basically $300 for a “cord”, that measured barely 90 cubic feet, of mere garbage kindling. I have cut a lot of wood and I have bought a lot of wood. Never again. Avoid at all costs. Weights and Measures will be hearing from me on this…"
"Called Carl at NEPA firewood out of the blue on a Monday for a Friday delivery of a half cord of burning campfire wood to the western edge of Lake Wallenpaupack and he delivered a hearty half cord on time and at the agreed price. I thought the price was a little high, but not unreasonable, and as I was coming from out of town, and for an impromptu delivery, I didn’t feel the need to haggle."
