"The firewood delivered (highly recommend a full cord delivered in the bags as a full cord (2 bags) is $750 while a 1/2 cord (1 bag) is $550) was clean, cut well, and burns beautifully. Very prompt and courteous service."
"These folks took care of us after Helene. We hadn't well-stocked the woodpile for the winter before the storm, and then became reliant on the wood stove last year for heat when the HVAC failed. "I have been meaning to update this review from last winter and am just now getting back to it. Last winter I was at my house in Wolf Laurel for the winter. I ended up using a full chord of wood all from Richard. I ended up making 3 separate trips each time buying the 1/3 sack which with some effort he was able to load the bags into my Ford F-150 short bed (I have a large tool box in my truck which eats up a lot of room). All the wood was excellent. If I have any complaints it was that he doesn’t deliver to my location. However, I hired a couple of high school guys to unload and stack the wood which added a little more to the price which is very reasonable. Bottom line is this is a very good place for firewood. If you don’t have a truck or want to buy more than one sack if you’re in an area where they don’t deliver I would suggest renting a small trailer from u-haul for the task. Will be getting 3 sacks this summer for next fall."
