"I had been looking for a shabby chic shelves for months, ordered many different mantel styles and returned all of them. I came across this company spoke to Sandra, showed her a picture of what I had in mind. Within 10 days I had the perfect shelve with the exact coloring I had hoped for. Couldn’t have been any better. "Pollums Natural Resources recently made a custom order mantel for me. I placed the order on a Saturday; my mantel was delivered to me (in Illinois) the following Thursday. Sandy answered all my questions before placing my order and was very prompt and clear in doing so. My mantel is absolutely beautiful; each piece of wood was obviously meticulously picked and pieced together. I'm so very happy and impressed by this company and highly recommend them."
"Must have caught him on a wrong day because Harry (the owner) was extremely rude and condescending. I asked him a simple question if I could pay him some extra money to come out to my home and measure some cabinets for butcher block counter tops I wanted made. I am not a cabinet or counter top maker by trade and I just wanted things to be right. A simple yes or no would've sufficed, especially when I was willing to pay extra money for the inconvenience. Instead I got "If you can't read a tape measure that's your problem." Not acceptable. I had a historical business relationship with Harry, selling him timber from a wood lot of mine. It was a simple question, and I didn't deserve to be treated in that manner. I have always been nothing but polite in our dealings. To be honest though they have always treated me like my business wasn't important enough for them. Very disappointing because harry is a decent wood worker. He's just not very kind or polite."
