"Got another load of wood this morning from Val. She is amazing a working machine. She was here at 5:54am with our delivery. Very reliable they call with any changes. "Update**. Good costumer service as you can see from reply. We picked up another load this evening and it was all dry. Thank you for making it right! Took alot of the wood awhile to dry out last time. Now we know to call for delivery if there's a big storm around the time we need to pick up. Just went to pick up at the self serve and the wood is wet and covered in snow but we didn't realize it until my husband took a little off the top because they covered the top with dry wood. We are paying full price but not happy about this wet wood. Hopefully our house doesn't smoke up. It would be one thing if they didn't try to cover it up.. would be nice if the tarped it."
"We were staying at an RV resort in Petoskey recently. The resort is first class.... the firewood they sell, not so much. It was not dried thoroughly and was pricy. A quick Google search pointed us 20 minutes south to Moeke Forestry. When you enter the drive, the first self-serve area honor-system is on the left. Larger loads are a bit further up the drive. We purchased 4 totes of wood for $40. It was enough for 4 plus nights and burned hot with very little smoke. If you're in the area and need firewood, this is the place to get it!"
"Staff was very helpful both on phone and in person. Firewood was in good shape, if slightly damp and the price per cord was on the higher side, but overall very happy with my experience there."
