"We have stopped service with them now due to how they responded to a big mistake made by them. A couple of months ago our garbage can mysteriously disappeared. Apparently they took it(from behind our garage) because they got a stop service request from someone and mistook our address for that. We were assured we'd receive a credit on the next bill. So they claimed they would not be able to return the can until the start of the next week, leaving us to pile up garbage in our garage. The driver was out of town but thankfully was nice enough to offer one of his personal cans until they could bring back our garbage can. My husband has a truck so he drove to Austin to pick it up. They returned the normal can at the beginning of the following week. When we received the next billing statement, there was no credit and when they were called all they said they could do was $12 and some change, which is less than their 'paper bill fee' and the tax. I'm sorry but if we wouldn't have had access to a truck, we'd have had to pile up garbage in our garage. How is that okay when we're paying for a service? Administration needs to get their act together. That was the final straw. First off, a paper bill fee shouldn't exist. That's the cost of doing business. Customers hate that added on to things. Second, if you make a big mistake, be apologetic about it and compensate a customer for their time and gas money to drive to get a can since they messed up. That's also the cost of doing business because that shouldn't have happened. So now instead of losing $25 or $50 they're going to lose $101 something every 3 months because we're done. I'd rather burn trash in my backyard every week than deal with Redcan again."
"I can't even with this company they make us pay for stickers to not take our trash out it's in a bin under 30 pounds and they open the garage bin throw the lid so it's in the neighbors street and don't even take the one bag disappointed"
"After all summer they had been picking up our trash after 12pm they changed when they come without notice. When I called they said I had to pay a fee to come back. They are not consistent and have poor customer service. A few times they dropped garbage and left it. Not professional at all and rude. I recommend Thompson Sanitation over them by far.."
