"I swear I live in a world where every day companies find a way to make things less convenient and more challenging. It used to be this way if I wanted to make a return or complain about some issue; anymore it seems like companies make things difficult just to make a purchase. I am quite pleased to say this is not true about Smoak. As the seasons change and the nights become colder my wife and I decided we'd like to spend more time sitting by the fire in our backyard. I searched the internet for a local company that would deliver firewood to my home and discovered Smoak was just down the road from our home. The price was unbeatable (I checked) so I placed an order just last night. And was shocked when I received a text informing me the wood would be delivered today! The text even asked where I'd prefer to have the wood stacked so I didn't even have to be here to receive delivery (compared to the company I ordered the bricks for the firepit from left the bricks dumped at the head of my driveway)! Easy. Simple. Convenient! During this open enrollment I wish my insurance company worked this well. I also discovered I'd been purchasing Smoak wood for my woodfired pizza oven through Home Depot for years. Not only do they have great service and fantastic prices, their wood tastes great cooking pizza with too! Instead of Home Depot I'll be ordering my cooking wood direct as well. I'm very pleased with the service provided by Smoak and I'll be recommending them to everyone I know with a fireplace, pit, or wood fired oven. Best company I've worked with in a long time."
"We love your different cooking woods and the great service during delivery! We stock our fire pit with one of your racks and keep two large weatherproof containers with our cooking woods (kindling, chunks and logs) for the pizza oven and Big Green Egg next to it. On our previous first order, you even came back out to exchange the wood because you thought it might not be dry enough, due to a power outage affecting your kilns. Now who does that anymore?.....Nice Service!"
