"I would give them a 0 if that was an option. We ordered wood for a girls weekend on Wednesday before our weekend. We were told it would be delivered at 4:30 Friday afternoon. Friday comes and we were told the delivery would be delayed due to a wife's birthday. Several times throughout the night we were told they were on the way. We never received the wood. Definitely would not recommend!!!"
"My first interation with Dan was for a half cord, delivered timely and no issues. The second order, total scam. Paid for a full cord, he delivered 2/3 of the full cord and said he'd be back later that weekend. It's now been 6 weeks, multiple texts back and forth saying he's on his way or he'll deliver by the next morning. Disappointment each time, still nothing. Even requested a partial refund multiple times and he denies each request. Do yourself a favor and use someone else if you need a reliable supplier."
"Southern Scam to the Max. PREPAID 300 for cord and a half delivered. Dan “the owner of the business”..who I share a name with.. showed up after 12 hours of texting.. with 87 pieces of wood. I’m being dramatic but 15 percent of what we ordered. A quarter of a face cord. Promised to come back in the morning. A shame. We had to use another company which came out right away with burnable wood. Just don’t call these crooks. Pic is of the wood dropped off first and Casper and his wife were never to be seen again."
"We were in Ellijay in mid February 2024. I should have posted the review then. We are staying at the same place next month and I've already contacted them about delivering to us again. I brought firewood to our house from home, but we were running out quickly. We drove into town and could not find anywhere open. I did a search and found this company. I cannot say enough positive things about their communication and service. I contacted them mid-day on a Saturday and we had a full truck load at our house a few hours later. It's probably not feasible for them to deliver that fast at all times, but we greatly appreciated their quick service. They stacked the firewood neatly and were very pleasant to deal with. The firewood was seasoned just as they advertised. Please disregard the multiple 1 star posts that are obviously from the same group of people trying to reduce this companies rating. Things don't go perfect sometimes and some people are impossible to please. I'm more than confident that Dan and his wife (sorry, I don't recall her name :)) would do everything in their power to make things right with a reasonable solution. Thank you!!"
